Basic Life Support Medical Transportation

Basic Life Support (BLS) services include transportation on a stretcher inside an ambulance, accompanied by highly trained EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians). In a BLS transport, the patient typically requires moderate medical assistance. The patient is usually transported on a stretcher to ensure safety, and monitored by trained medical personnel during transport.

Customers choose Clarion’s Basic Life Support transportation services for the following reasons:

  • Quality of care — Clarion’s ambulances and EMTs are equipped to properly monitor patients and their health. We hire only experienced medical personnel and we invest in high-quality equipment.

  • Dependability — We never over-promise on pickup times, and if a scheduling conflict occurs, our managers personally communicate with all parties.

  • Flexibility — Basic Life Support transports can be either emergent or non-emergent. They typically serve as a transfer of care to or from a hospital, nursing facility, rehabilitation center, doctors’ office or other medical facility.

  • Insurance assistance — Insurance coverage varies for BLS transports and is dependent on destination, medical necessity and policy. We work with patients and facilities to navigate insurance coverage, including Medicaid and Medicare.
